Paylocity is expanding its Machine Learning Engineering organization to deliver data-driven decisions at scale for millions of users. You will lead ML infrastructure, guide platform-wide AI initiatives, and drive end-to-end tooling from data pipelines to deployment.

We value strong leadership, a bias for continuous improvement, and the ability to mentor high-performing teams in a fully remote environment across the U.S.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years of hands-on AI/ML experience at software companies.
• 2+ years leading data teams and coaching talent.
• Experience in Python production-grade ML infra/models.
• Hands-on with AWS (Glue, EMR, Lambda) and IaC tooling.
• Familiar with CI/CD and software dev practices (GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Octopus, Jenkins).
• Strong communication and leadership skills, guiding teams to results.

• Independently lead ML Engineering teams in developing and enhancing ML infra and solutions impacting millions of users.
• Build and evolve AI platforms that scale across products and teams.
• Own end-to-end ML tooling and automation from data pipelines to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering to promote best practices and training materials.
• Influence cross-functional teams to align ML capabilities with product goals.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering growth and leadership.
