Paylocity is hiring a Staff Machine Learning Engineer in Product & Technology to design, build, and deploy ML solutions that scale for millions of users. You will collaborate across Data Science, Data Engineering, Cloud CoE, and DevOps to deliver reliable AI-powered features.

You’ll optimize data pipelines, contribute to platform-wide ML tooling, and advance best practices in ML engineering, including security and ethics considerations. This is a fully remote role within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ML engineering or related field; 8+ years of experience preferred
• Advanced degree (master’s or PhD) in ML engineering, data engineering, CS or related quantitative field
• Experience building production-grade ML models and infrastructure in Python

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Data Science, Data Engineering, Cloud CoE, DevOps, and Delivery Platforms to align ML solutions with business goals
• Leverage AWS Databricks and Spark to develop scalable ML solutions for millions of users
• Create automated data and modeling pipelines and ensure smooth deployment of ML features
• Lead CI/CD optimization to improve scalability and resilience with DevOps
• Identify and resolve issues, address AppSec vulnerabilities with security teams
• Promote best practices in ML engineering and contribute to training materials
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to drive project success
