Job summary

Chamber is reshaping cardiology by delivering analytics that prove value in patient care. We seek a Manager of Medical Economics to own the analytical function that tracks Total Cost of Care, avoidable utilization, and performance metrics for value-based contracts.

You will lead the design of reporting infrastructure, develop dashboards across claims data, and translate findings for senior leadership and payers. Hybrid in Nashville or remote with ET/CT hours.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in medical economics or related analytics.
• Fluency with value-based care metrics — TCOC, APK, utilization benchmarks, quality measures, medication adherence, and economic efficiency indicators.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint; comfortable with AI prompting tools as part of your analytical workflow.
• Familiarity with CMS value-based care models (e.g. MSSP, REACH), CMS-HCC risk adjustment, CMS quality scores, etc.
• Ability to own analytical work end-to-end — form hypotheses, design analyses, and communicate results clearly.
• High tolerance for ambiguity; produce clear, defensible outputs from messy data and unclear briefs.
• Bachelor’s degree in health economics, public health, biostatistics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own the creation and development of Chamber’s clinical impact reporting — building the infrastructure, methodology, and narratives that demonstrate program effectiveness to payers, partners, and leadership.
• Build and maintain SQL-based analytic processes and dashboards across medical claims, pharmacy claims, enrollment, and attribution data to support contract performance monitoring.
• Lead primary analysis across cost trends, utilization impact, clinical effectiveness, and economic and operational efficiency — connecting data to outcomes in ways that are clear, credible, and compelling.
• Serve as the primary thought leader behind Chamber’s health economics story — defining how we measure success and how we communicate it.
• Partner directly with Chamber’s senior executives as a key analytical stakeholder, providing the evidence base that informs strategic decisions.
• Scale Chamber’s Medical Economics team and analytical platform as the business grows — building systems, processes, and people that can support an expanding contract portfolio.
• Work with ambiguous data and requests — you can turn incomplete inputs into defensible, actionable outputs.
• Leverage SQL, Excel, AI tools (e.g. Claude), and PowerPoint to build analyses that are both rigorous and accessible to non-technical audiences.
