Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions is seeking a Home Based- Manager, Clinical Operations to oversee the execution of clinical trials in a sponsor-dedicated model. The role emphasizes efficient, compliant operations, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership of the clinical operations team.

You will coordinate trial delivery, resolve issues, and develop team capability, while engaging with stakeholders to optimize trial design and performance metrics across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field.
• Extensive experience in managing clinical operations with regulatory knowledge.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and manage teams in a dynamic environment.
• Minimum of 2 years as an Operations Manager or in a people leadership role.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct biosample management experience.
• Proficiency with project management tools and process optimization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10%.

Responsibilities

• Leading the operational planning and execution of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to protocols and timelines.
• Engaging with cross-functional teams to optimize trial design and enhance operational efficiency throughout the clinical development process.
• Monitoring trial progress and performance metrics, providing insights to inform decision‑making and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentoring and developing junior staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence within the team.
• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication across clinical operations.
