Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions is seeking a Manager, Study Start Up to lead end-to-end site start-up activities for clinical trials. You will guide a team, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with sponsors and internal teams to deliver quality trial initiations.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic oversight, and driving efficiency in a sponsor-dedicated model supported by ICON’s global expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field is required.
• Proven leadership experience managing study start-up teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to handle multiple studies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end study start-up and site activation processes.
• Lead and mentor a team of study start-up professionals.
• Collaborate with sponsors, regulatory, and clinical operations teams to ensure regulatory compliance and timelines.
• Monitor start-up metrics, timelines, and budgets to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Identify risks in start-up processes and implement mitigation strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize study start-up efficiency.
