Job summary
UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Manager, Intelligence Systems & AI to design, build, and operate AI-enabled intelligence capabilities across Communications, Corporate Affairs, Data, Technology, and AI teams. You will translate business needs into practical systems and scalable workflows, enabling faster knowledge access and decision support.
The role focuses on knowledge architecture, data enablement, and governance, with a hands-on product ownership mindset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in knowledge management, information architecture, applied AI, analytics, or related disciplines.
- Experience building or configuring technical workflows, systems, tools, or process improvements.
- Experience with structured and unstructured information, metadata, taxonomies, and enterprise search or content-management platforms.
- Experience with AI-enabled workflows, automation, generative AI, or related technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and operate intelligence & AI capabilities, knowledge repositories, retrieval systems, and decision-support workflows.
- Build knowledge foundations: taxonomies, metadata standards, information models.
- Translate expert judgment into scalable workflows and AI-enabled processes.
- Define requirements for structured/unstructured data and collaborate on ingestion and metadata.
- Integrate intelligence platforms and knowledge sources into practical workflows.
