Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Manager - Managed Care to drive the strategy and relationships with health plans and other stakeholders. The role covers commercial, Medicare Advantage and Medicaid Managed Care contracts, coordinating payer relations and ensuring clear communications across the organization.

The position is remote with residency required in Arkansas, and requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years in Managed Care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Managed Care required.
• Contracting experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare finance or revenue cycle is a plus and may be trainable for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Implement Mercy’s managed care strategy and develop/manage relationships with health plans and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid Managed Care and other third‑party managed care contracts.
• Ensure communication to internal and external constituents regarding programs, services and other relevant information.
