Job summary

PNC Financial Services Group is seeking an Incident & Response Consultant to lead major IT incident responses, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure rapid restoration of services. The role focuses on both major incidents and proactive event management through monitoring and escalation.

You will manage incident bridge calls, communicate status updates, and drive improvements in change and problem management processes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading high-impact IT incidents and incident response.
• Strong understanding of major incident and event management processes.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate clearly during incidents.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary incident lead for high-impact IT incidents.
• Triage incoming IT issues and determine severity.
• Open and manage major incident bridge calls.
• Lead cross-functional technical teams to drive rapid issue resolution.
• Maintain a strong command-and-control presence with timely decision-making.
• Coordinate and communicate status updates throughout the incident lifecycle.
• Manage incidents affecting critical systems and services.
