Job summary

Mosaic is seeking a Development Officer to lead our major gifts program, identify and cultivate donors, and solicit significant gifts to support people in our care. This role focuses on strategic donor engagement, relationship planning, and sustainable fundraising with remote flexibility and travel as needed.

You will collaborate with leadership to advance campaigns, maintain records, and explore innovative giving opportunities.

Qualifications

• Five years of direct fundraising experience with a proven track record of closing current and deferred gifts.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Deep knowledge of fundraising trends and estate planning.
• Ability to ask for and close large gifts, conduct presentations for large audiences, and travel extensively to meet donors.
• CFRE or CAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Major Gift Strategy by securing current and deferred major gifts.
• Build donor and prospect relationship plans in coordination with the VP of Development.
• Partner as a strategic advisor to assigned locations to ensure sustainable fundraising plans.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and identify opportunities for current and deferred giving.
