Job summary

Degy Booking International, Inc. is seeking a Major Events Operations Manager to support live events and client relationships across colleges, universities, PACs, and related markets.

This remote role oversees event logistics from advance to on-site execution, coordinating with vendors and internal teams. The successful candidate will lead meetings, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with safety and insurance requirements while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of live entertainment management experience.
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Proactive problem solving in high-pressure settings.
• Ability to travel and pass FBI background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support major events, including college/university and PAC clients, managing advance processes and schedules.
• Translate bookings into executable event plans as operational counterpart to agent desks.
• Coordinate logistics with vendors for production, staging, catering, staffing, and power.
• Create, publish, and negotiate RFPs or RFQs for vendors and services.
• Ensure compliance with insurance, health, safety requirements and regulatory standards.
• Travel to provide on-site support and attend meetings, pre-site visits, or conferences.
• Handle high volumes of calls and emails related to events.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for event communication and project management.
• Participate in weekly staff and departmental meetings.
