Job summary

Pregis Corporation is seeking a Technical Support Specialist (Machinery) for the 3rd shift to provide remote intake, triage, and recovery of customer production equipment. You will act as the frontline in the TSOC, using diagnostics and telemetry to restore operation and minimize field visits.

Responsibilities include remote troubleshooting, guiding corrective actions, documenting tickets, and coordinating with field technicians when onsite support is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical support or field service for equipment.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of electromechanical or automated equipment.
• Ability to diagnose using structured diagnostic approaches.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first technical contact for inbound customer requests.
• Perform structured intake to identify machine state and fault conditions.
• Troubleshoot remotely, guide safe corrective actions, and avoid truck rolls.
• Escalate unresolved issues with full technical context and findings.
• Create Work Orders and coordinate with field technicians when needed.
• Document tickets accurately in C4C and FSM systems.
• Identify trends and communicate with Ops, Eng, and Product teams.
