Qualifications

• Senior Associate or VP-level M&A experience at a top bank or boutique.
• Hands-on experience with live acquisition or sale processes and client deliverables.
• Proven ability to produce and review analytical and presentation materials to senior standards.
• Excel modeling mastery, including scenario analysis and clear outputs.
• Direct experience with company/industry research, target screening, comps, and pitchbooks.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with clear, actionable feedback.
• Ability to identify quantitative inaccuracies and strategic weaknesses in materials.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive company and industry research to inform data-driven AI training initiatives.
• Perform and review buyer or target screening, comparable company analysis, and financial modeling tasks.
• Build, update, and troubleshoot detailed Excel-based valuation and transaction models, ensuring methodological accuracy and logical consistency.
• Prepare and edit materials akin to client presentations or pitchbooks, reflecting transaction execution scenarios and strategic rationale.
• Analyze and critique sample materials for numerical errors, weak strategy, or unclear logic, providing actionable feedback for improvement.
• Explain accounting treatments, valuation adjustments, deal sensitivities, and trace how key assumptions influence analytical outcomes.
• Deliver precise written and verbal explanations of complex financial concepts tailored to diverse audiences, leveraging strong communication skills.
