Job summary

VIVA USA Inc is seeking a remote Prior Authorization Nurse to support a work-from-home environment. You will handle inbound calls, process PA requests, load authorizations, and follow up with prescribers, pharmacies, and members.

Reporting to the Pharmacy Operations Manager, you will collaborate with pharmacists and MDs, manage data entry, and ensure accurate documentation while delivering courteous, professional service under established standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with full, active license in US territory or DC.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Review criteria-based prior authorizations following policy and procedure.
• Provide on-call after hours nurse availability for urgent PA requests.
• Provide internal nurse support to PA team and member services.
• Refer cases not meeting clinical criteria to Pharmacist and MD teams.
• Prioritize workload with a sense of urgency across calls and assignments.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, healthcare professionals and members.
