Job summary

Actalent is seeking an LVN Nurse Consultant for a fully remote telephonic nursing position. You will contact patients or caregivers to ensure adherence to prescribed therapies and address issues they may encounter, including nursing home engagements and coordination with charge nurses.

Responsibilities include making 50–70 calls daily, ensuring therapy adherence, documenting per templates, and undergoing regular audits.

Qualifications

• Requires LVN/LPN certification and telephonic nursing experience.
• Must be proficient in computer literacy and accurate documentation.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced remote role.
• Experience in healthcare/utilization management/case management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct an average of 50-70 calls per day to patients and caregivers.
• Ensure patients are starting and adhering to their prescribed therapy.
• Address issues related to therapy adherence, including misdosing, allergic reactions, or double dosing.
• Perform documentation with strict adherence to templates and undergo audits for accuracy.
• Maintain a professional telephonic voice and demonstrate quick learning within the first 90 days.
• Monitor for red flags such as missing multiple doses and report accordingly.
• Receive and implement feedback from quality assurance and call audits.
