WorldWide Electric Company is looking for a Low Voltage Motor Application Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia. The position requires collaboration with sales, manufacturing, and engineering teams, as well as customer interaction to resolve application challenges. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and have a strong background in low voltage motor applications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in low voltage motor application engineering or technical sales support.
• Background with manufacturers such as WEG, ABB, TECO, Nidec, Toshiba or Hyundai preferred.
• Experience supporting distribution channels or OEM accounts.

Responsibilities

• Size and select low voltage AC motors based on load requirements.
• Serve as technical liaison for OEMs, distributors, and end users.
• Provide subject matter expertise on general purpose and severe duty motors.
• Ensure compatibility with VFDs, soft starters, and driven equipment.
