Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. in Duluth, GA seeks an Application Engineer II to serve as a key technical and commercial resource for MV automation.

You will evaluate customer requirements, develop solutions, prepare proposals, and support projects from quote to execution. This role emphasizes collaboration with sales, engineering, and customers to deliver optimized MV drives and automation solutions, with a focus on quality, compliance, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required; equivalent combinations considered.
• 3+ years in industrial automation, motor controls, drives, or related technical roles.

Responsibilities

• Support business development and sales activities through technical consultation and application expertise.
• Review customer requirements, specifications, and RFQs to develop optimized technical solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical presentations for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support packaged sales opportunities involving motors, medium voltage drives, and automation systems.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, project management, and internal teams throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships while providing responsive technical support.
