Job summary

African Safari Group is seeking a highly energetic Training & Development Associate to join our growing team. This hands-on role focuses on delivering the Sales Consultant induction, coaching trainees and keeping training materials up to date.

You will work remotely, collaborate with the Training & Development Manager, and apply AI tools like NotebookLM to enhance learning while supporting ASG's luxury safari sales across Africa.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience in luxury safari or high-end travel with proven experience across the sales cycle.
• Strong practical understanding of the luxury travel/safari sales environment.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Impeccable Google Workspace skills.
• Experience with LMS platforms and preferably Tutor Pro and WordPress/Elementor.
• Confidence using AI tools and an interest in applying AI to learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ASG's 4-week Sales Consultant Induction Course and ongoing refresher workshops.
• Facilitate engaging, practical training for new consultants in the ASG sales environment.
• Coach and mentor trainees to achieve competency standards.
• Maintain and share knowledge of ASG's software, processes, policies and luxury safari products across Africa.
• Manage training content within LMS Tutor Pro, WordPress/Elementor and Google Workspace.
• Mark assessments and maintain trainee performance records.
• Prepare weekly trainee progress reports and provide feedback to the Training & Development Manager.
