Job summary

Guardian Life is seeking a LTD Claims Consultant for a mobile, remote role with travel to Guardian offices as determined by the People Leader. The role focuses on delivering key metrics, improving claim management accuracy, and driving continuous improvement across claim workflows.

You will provide technical support to claim teams, act as SME on complex issues, and collaborate with multiple lines of business to implement best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years LTD claims handling experience or equivalent.
• Experience mentoring/coaching staff and frontline supervisors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, time management and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Claim Teams including Claim Auth reviews and serve as SME on complex issues.
• Drive improvements in initial claim decision, Claim Management Accuracy and CID turnaround times.
• Leverage automation and/or alternate sourcing options to handle additional tasks.
• Collaborate with all lines of business to promote best practices to improve efficiency.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert to support timely and effective delivery of Workstream Initiatives.
