Guardian Life is seeking an LTD Claims Consultant for a remote role with some travel to Guardian offices as needed. You will support claim teams, review claims, and drive improvements in decision accuracy and turnaround times, acting as SME for workstream initiatives.

The role emphasizes exceptional communication, analytical skills, and mentoring staff to ensure proper claim adjudication while aligning with Guardian’s commitment to service excellence.

Qualifications

• 3 years LTD claims handling experience or DI equivalent.
• Experience providing feedback to frontline staff and supervisors.
• Ability to work remotely with travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide Technical Support to Claim Teams including Claim Auth reviews, serve as SME on complex issues
• Drive improvements in initial claim decision, Claim Management Accuracy and CID turnaround times
• Leverage automation and/or alternate sourcing options to handle additional tasks
• Collaborate with all lines of business to promote best practices to improve efficiency
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert to support timely and effective delivery of Workstream Initiatives
