Job summary

PharMerica is seeking a remote Pharmacist Consultant to focus on the pharmaceutical needs of long-term care clients. This role offers flexible schedules and a variety of benefits, including health insurance and 401k.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, a valid license, and experience in clinical or consultant pharmacy. The successful pharmacist will work closely with nursing staff and physicians to ensure optimal medication management and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current licensed pharmacist, dual license preferred.
• One-year experience in acute, long-term care or home health preferred.
• Good customer service skills and ability to understand regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness.
• Review and report drug regimen irregularities monthly.
• Document all communications with healthcare team members.
