Job summary

Hamilton Behavioral is seeking a fully licensed LPC for a 1099 independent contractor role delivering therapeutic services via telehealth. The Counselor will operate under a Counseling Compact license to serve clients across participating states.

This remote position offers complete autonomy to design your schedule, build your caseload, and focus on evidence-based practice while we handle administrative tasks and compliance support.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential.
• Must hold a Counseling Compact license (privilege to practice in participating compact states).
• Prior experience providing telehealth or virtual counseling is preferred.
• Must carry active, independent professional liability malpractice insurance.
• Reliable high-speed internet, a secure computer, and a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based virtual therapy to individuals, couples, or families.
• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Manage your own caseload based entirely on your personal availability and capacity.
