Job summary

IES is seeking an Estimator II to support sales and project staff by developing basic designs and estimates. The role covers labor estimation, scope writing, and cost analysis while coordinating with sales, operations, and management to ensure timely, accurate bids and compliant project execution.

The position requires the ability to read blueprints, manage multiple projects, and travel as needed within branch or regional territories.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in customer interface or liaison role.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete project engineering and estimating labor.
• Coordinate with Lead Estimator, sales & operations for multi-scope bids.
• Ensure estimates align with project costs and installation expenses.
• Follow vendor guidelines to obtain best solutions and lead times.
• Meet bid schedules and maintain quality and safety standards.
