Job summary

IES Holdings is seeking an Estimator II to support sales and projects by developing basic designs, engineering solutions, and accurate cost estimates for bids. You will collaborate with sales, operations, and project teams to ensure on-time, cost-effective execution of opportunities.

The role requires interpreting blueprints, complex cost analysis, and effective communication. A strong background in Excel and document management, plus travel as needed, is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's preferred.
• 4–6 years of experience in customer interface or liaison roles.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and project documents; strong writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete project engineering, material selection, and labor estimating.
• Act as liaison between sales, operations, and customers to ensure on-time completion.
• Ensure estimates align with design requirements and installation costs.
• Follow vendor guidelines and obtain best solution and lead-times.
• Attend training and bid turnover meetings as required.
