Job summary

ARMStrong Insurance Services is seeking Loss Control Field Inspectors to conduct inspections on commercial or residential properties. The role is part-time/occasional with hours varying week to week and the candidate sets their own schedule.

Responsibilities include scheduling, performing surveys, taking multiple photos, preparing reports, and communicating survey status. Requires a valid driver’s license, home-based work with travel, and driving a route within the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Competent use of a digital camera, word processing and e-mail.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Must live within 30-mile radius of territory.
• Job will be based from home with required travel to each inspection location.
• Maintain automobile insurance with bodily injury limits equal to or greater than $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident or $300,000 combined.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inspections on either commercial or residential properties.
• Prepare reports with multiple pictures after inspections.
• Communicate survey status via internal progress reports.
• Schedule inspections to maximize time and meet service targets.
• Contact insured via phone, email and text to set up appointments.
