Job summary

State of Missouri in Jefferson City is seeking a regulatory surveyor for the Section for Long-Term Care. The role serves as part of a multi-disciplinary team to survey facilities for regulatory compliance and as an independent complaint investigator.

Telecommuter status may be available after training. You will conduct surveys, inspections, monitor care quality, communicate findings clearly, attend team meetings, and may be on-call during weekends and holidays to investigate high-priority

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills.
• Registered nurse license in Missouri or in accordance with Missouri's Nurse Licensure Compact and have 0-3 years of experience as a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys, licensure inspections, complaint investigations, and other activities as assigned and in accordance with federal and state policies and procedures, including passing the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test.
