Job summary

DSV, a global leader in transport and logistics, seeks an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations, including warehousing, receiving, and shipping. The role focuses on staffing, training, KPI achievement, and client satisfaction across a dynamic logistics environment.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage budgets and resources, and ensure safety and quality standards while collaborating with HR and clients to optimize performance and service levels.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 7 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day site Operations including warehousing, receiving and shipping.
• Plans inbound/outbound volume, space utilization and equipment management.
• Hiring and training, labor management planning, and performance appraisals.
• Ensures KPI achievement and adherence to client SLAs.
• Maintains safety, quality and SOP compliance across operations.
