Job summary

SSW Advanced Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support procurement, transportation, and supply chain operations remotely in the United States. This role coordinates shipments, maintains records, communicates with suppliers and carriers, and ensures products move efficiently from origin to destination.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in logistics or related fields, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in logistics, transportation, shipping, procurement, order management, or related coordination role.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic inbound and outbound shipments from order release through final delivery.
• Schedule shipments and deliveries with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor shipment status, identify delays or issues, and communicate updates and resolution plans.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, purchase order records, tracking information, and logistics files.
• Verify freight charges, assist with invoice reconciliation, and elevate discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain accurate data within ERP, inventory, transportation, and carrier management systems.
• Support inventory visibility, procurement activities, and supplier relationships.
• Track logistics performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Respond promptly to internal and external customer inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
