Job summary

City Lifestyle -Ramapo Valley Edition is seeking a local editor/content creator to manage editorial themes for the Ramapo Valley edition. You will supervise freelance writers and photographers and organize all editorial content for the monthly publication.

Qualifications

• Background in writing, content creation, or visual storytelling with leadership experience.
• Able to manage freelance writers and photographers and coordinate monthly editorial content.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all editorial efforts for the Ramapo Valley City Lifestyle edition.
• Plan and assign photography/editorial for all issues.
• Ensure layouts meet word counts and include photographic elements.
• Manage content monthly and assign freelance work or write/edit articles.
• Oversee content alignment with brand style, deadlines and quality standards.
• Develop and assign editorial themes for each issue.
• Collaborate with the publisher to align content with audience and advertiser interests.
• Work with vendors on styled shoots and visual storytelling.
