Job summary

World Business Lenders (WBL) seeks an auditor to conduct internal audits across the loan lifecycle—from origination to collections—ensuring compliance with internal policies and risk standards. The candidate should have 1–5 years of relevant experience in financial services, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, and strong Excel data-analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–5 years in internal auditing, loan operations, risk management, or compliance in financial services.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or lending institutions.
• Knowledge of loan lifecycle: origination, underwriting, servicing, collections.
• Familiarity with loan documentation, credit files, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Execute internal audits and operational reviews across the loan lifecycle.
• Identify process inefficiencies, risks, and control gaps.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and risk standards.
• Enhance internal controls within lending operations.
• Present audit findings with actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with management on remediation of findings.
