Job summary

Metro West Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in San Francisco, CA. This full-time clinician will assess, plan, and provide evidence-based mental health services to a diverse client population, with resources for recovery from substance use and developmental disabilities.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensure regulatory documentation, and participate in licensing processes while delivering compassionate care and advocacy

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a mental health discipline is required.
• Independent LMHC license, preferably California, or willingness to apply with support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans including crisis intervention and medication management as needed.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools in collaboration with the clinical team.
• Develop and implement individualized positive behavior support plans.
• Participate in licensing/accreditation processes and liaison with service systems.
