Job summary

Senior Hope Behavioral Health Center is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join a fully remote team providing essential mental health support in a community health–oriented setting. This full-time position focuses on adults facing addiction and co-occurring disorders, offering comprehensive care with collaboration across a multidisciplinary team.

You will conduct assessments, design individualized plans, and facilitate therapy while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in the state of Washington.
• Minimum of three years' clinical experience in providing mental health support, particularly in addiction recovery settings.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and compassionate mental health assessments to identify individualized treatment needs and co-occurring disorders.
• Design and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that reflect clients' unique strengths and challenges.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that address addiction, trauma, and other mental health issues while promoting emotional healing.
• Regularly monitor client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and addiction specialists, to ensure a comprehensive care approach.
• Provide education and resources to clients and families about mental health, addiction recovery principles, and available support systems.
• Maintain accurate and secure client records in compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
