Job summary

Gotham Enterprises Ltd. is seeking a Massachusetts-licensed LMFT for a fully remote therapy role. The position involves leading video therapy sessions with adults, couples, and families, addressing issues such as separation, family role changes, and stress at home.

You will own your sessions and clinical work while collaborating with a team for complex cases, ensuring privacy and compliance with MA LMFT requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
• Active Massachusetts LMFT license in good standing.
• At least 1 year of post-licensure clinical experience preferred.
• Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families.
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working in a remote/telehealth setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead scheduled therapy appointments by video.
• Work with couples and families when concerns involve the relationship.
• Explore how past experiences, family roles, or current circumstances may be affecting the situation.
• Help clients make sense of recurring issues and decide what they want to change.
• Complete required documentation after sessions.
• Use consultation when a case would benefit from another clinical viewpoint.
• Recognize situations that call for outside services or a higher level of care.
• Maintain privacy and Massachusetts LMFT practice compliance.
