The LLM Specialist will design and deploy advanced language-model capabilities within a cloud analytics ecosystem. The role requires leadership in architecture for fine-tuning, RAG, and domain adaptation, driving prototypes, and ensuring governance, security, and performance across model implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience with LLMs, transformer-based architectures, and generative AI solutions.
• Experience fine-tuning LLMs with LoRA/PEFT and prompt engineering strategies.
• Experience designing and optimizing RAG solutions, embeddings, vector databases, and search optimization.
• Hands-on experience with LLM development frameworks and orchestration tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar technologies.
• Strong Python programming skills with building, testing, and deploying AI/ML applications.
• Experience with distributed computing environments, GPU-accelerated workloads, or large-scale model training/inference.
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of MLOps and LLMOps; CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and governance.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor teams, communicating complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operationalize advanced LLM capabilities across a cloud analytics ecosystem.
• Lead architecture and strategy for fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic frameworks, and domain adaptation.
• Guide development of high-impact prototypes and scalable LLM pipelines.
• Ensure governance, security, and performance across all model implementations.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to drive transformation of AI solutions for government clients.
• Evaluate emerging LLM technologies and establish best practices and governance.
