Job summary

Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8 seeks Part-Time Virtual Learning Facilitators to join our remote teaching team. These 12-month positions require an enthusiastic learner, strong communication, and teamwork skills as they deliver virtual instruction to diverse learners.

Ideal candidates will use Zoom for live sessions, work with an LMS to teach synchronously and asynchronously, and tailor activities to student interests and needs. Certification and clearances are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Teaching certification required or preferred.
• Experience in instructional design and/or virtual learning preferred.
• Must possess Act 34, Act 114, and Act 151 clearances and Act 168 background checks.

Responsibilities

• Host live virtual instruction using Zoom.
• Teach synchronously and asynchronously via LMS.
• Tailor class activities to meet learners' needs.
• Collaborate with project teams remotely.
