Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support a first party property damage practice in a fully remote environment. The role reports to a litigious practice with a collaborative team and provides remote work flexibility along with strong support from a dedicated legal assistant for scheduling.

Ideal candidates will have 2 to 10 years of litigation paralegal experience, demonstrate a solid understanding of court filings and deadlines, and maintain excellent organization and communication

Qualifications

• 2 to 10 years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures, deadlines, and court filings.
• Experience working independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must reside in Florida and be comfortable working in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court deadlines.
• Handle all aspects of discovery including preparing responses, organizing production, and managing exhibits.
• Maintain case files, track deadlines, and ensure all documentation is properly organized and up to date.
• Communicate with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel regarding case status and document requests.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation including compiling exhibits, summaries, and trial binders.
• Coordinate with internal team members to ensure efficient case progression and workflow.
