Qualifications

• Colorado Bar Admission is required.
• Recent litigation experience (Workers' Comp or civil) is required.
• Open to candidates with a district court background.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of Colorado workers' compensation defense matters from intake through resolution.
• Appear at hearings, depositions, and settlement conferences for employers and carriers.
• Analyze compensability, disability, medical benefits, and average weekly wage issues and advise clients on strategy.
• Draft pleadings, position statements, discovery, and motions in a fast-paced administrative law setting.
• Communicate with adjusters, employers, and risk managers while meeting deadlines and billing.
