Job summary

Consilio, a national business law firm, seeks a skilled Litigation Attorney on a contract basis to support an active docket focused on insurance coverage disputes and complex personal injury matters.

The attorney will work remotely with the ability to report to the Charleston, SC office as needed, for client and team meetings. The role offers 20–30 hours per week, starting October 2026 for 6–12 months at $75/hour.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina bar license in good standing.
• Litigation experience, preferably in insurance coverage disputes or complex personal injury.
• Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation filings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery.
• Review and analyze documents and case materials.
• Prepare for and take or defend depositions.
• Support hearings, mediations and case strategy.
