Tyson & Mendes LLP in San Diego seeks an Associate Attorney to join our insurance defense team and grow your litigation career through hands-on experience, mentoring from senior lawyers, and meaningful client interaction.

You will work on a broad range of civil matters, including personal injury, premises liability, and medical malpractice, with opportunities to handle depositions, pleadings, motions, and trial preparation in a flexible, primarily remote environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active CA bar license required.
• 1–8 years of solid litigation experience including case strategy, depositions, and trial preparation.

Responsabilités

• Develop compelling case strategies that cut through emotional arguments and drive results.
• Independently manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and trials.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff at all experience levels to advance matters.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and carriers.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to team growth and success.
