Tyson & Mendes in Philadelphia is seeking an Associate Attorney with insurance defense experience to join our growing team. This remote role offers case ownership, substantive litigation, and direct client and carrier interaction, with no micromanagement and mentorship from senior attorneys.

Applicants must be licensed in Pennsylvania, have a JD from an ABA-accredited school, and demonstrate the ability to handle a full caseload from discovery through trial.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school
• Active Pennsylvania bar license
• 1–8 years of solid litigation experience
• Ability to independently manage a full caseload, from discovery through trial

Responsibilities

• Develop compelling case strategies that cut through emotional arguments and drive results
• Independently manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and trials
• Communicate with clients and carriers
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys, contributing to team growth and success
• Collaborate seamlessly with attorneys and staff at all experience levels
• Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients
• Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients
