Tyson & Mendes LLP seeks an Associate Attorney with 1+ years of insurance defense experience for a remote position in Pennsylvania. The role emphasizes more ownership, substantive litigation, client interaction, and development as a litigator.

You will handle files, develop strategy, manage discovery, take depositions, work with experts, communicate with clients and carriers, and prepare matters for trial while enjoying leadership guidance and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active Pennsylvania Bar license required.
• 1–8 years of solid litigation experience including case strategy, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Ability to independently manage a full caseload through discovery and trial.

Responsibilities

• Develop compelling case strategies that cut through emotional arguments and drive results.
• Independently manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and trials.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff at all experience levels.
• Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients.
• Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys, contributing to team growth and success.
