Candidates must be licensed in California (or in CA and NV) and have a Juris Doctor degree. Responsibilities include discovery, depositions, court filings, and coordinating with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor Degree required and must be actively licensed in good standing in CA (and NV for dual licensure).
• Strong, concise writing and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience taking and defending depositions and handling discovery.
• Familiarity with drafting demurrers, motions to strike, and summary adjudication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients and co-counsel during all phases of discovery and case management.
• Organize and maintain case files and liaise with secretaries and staff.
• Review discovery requests and prepare responses; supervise document reviews.
• Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial; draft standard court filings.
• Keep accurate time records for client billing and coordinate with insurance carriers when applicable.
