Job summary

DecisionPoint Corporation seeks an experienced Linux/Web Server Administrator to manage Apache HTTPD, Tomcat, NGINX on RHEL. You’ll optimize configurations, implement reverse proxies, SSL/TLS, and load balancing while addressing performance issues.

The ideal candidate holds a Top Secret clearance, a Bachelor's in a related field, 10+ years of Linux/web server experience, and a track record with DISA STIG/DoD RMF security. On-call responsibilities are included. Fully remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, DevOps Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of Linux/web server or application server administration experience.
• Strong hands-on with Apache HTTPD, Tomcat, and NGINX.

Responsibilities

• Install, patch, and troubleshoot Apache HTTPD, Tomcat, and NGINX on Linux.
• Configure reverse proxies, virtual hosts, load balancing, and SSL/TLS.
• Troubleshoot issues across Linux, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, firewalls, and connectivity.
