Job summary

Clarkston Consulting is seeking a LIMS Consultant to deliver lab informatics solutions for life sciences, consumer products, and retail clients. You’ll configure LIMS workflows, validate assays, and collaborate with QA/CSV and IT to ensure compliant solutions.

Travel is 30-50% and the role supports a flexible work arrangement, including remote/home-office days when not at client sites. A 4-year Life Sciences or IT degree is required, with 2+ years of LabWare/LabVantage experience.

Qualifications

• What We're Looking For: minimum of 2 years hands-on LabWare or LabVantage LIMS experience.
• Experience configuring and customizing LabWare or LabVantage LIMS to support workflows.
• Proven ability to design, configure, and validate assay workflows.
• Experience developing and maintaining scripts for workflow automation and data transformations.
• Solid understanding of laboratory operations and GxP / 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
• 4-year degree in Life Sciences, IT, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Configure LIMS modules to support workflows (assay development, plate results, sample management).
• Design, configure, and validate assay workflows within regulated environments.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation, rules, and data transformation.
• Prepare project documentation and demonstrations for clients.
• Collaborate with scientists, QA/CSV, and IT to gather requirements and validate systems (URS, FRS, DS, IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Ensure configurations comply with 21 CFR Part 11 and related validation procedures.
