Job summary

Clarkston Consulting is seeking motivated LIMS consultants to deliver creative business solutions for life sciences, consumer products, and retail clients. You will configure LIMS modules, design and validate assays, and develop automation scripts in regulated environments.

Travel is an integral part of the role (30-50%), and consultants often work from home when not on client site. A 4-year degree in Life Sciences or IT is required along with experience in LabWare or LabVantage LIMS.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with LabWare or LabVantage LIMS.
Experience configuring LabWare or LabVantage to support lab workflows.
Proven ability to design, configure, and validate assay workflows.
Experience developing scripts for workflow automation, rules, calculations, and data transformations.
Solid understanding of laboratory operations and end-to-end lab processes.
Ability to deliver configuration demos to clients.
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Configure LIMS modules to support workflows (assay development, plate results, sample management, stability, analytics).
Design, configure, and validate assay workflows aligned with requirements and 21 CFR Part 11.
