U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI), the nation’s largest independent electrical distributor, is seeking a Lighting Estimator for a fully remote position in Massachusetts.

The role focuses on managing bid processes, coordinating with clients and internal teams, and producing accurate lighting take-offs and quotations. Qualified candidates have 5+ years in lighting estimating, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Bluebeam and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of lighting estimating experience.
• Experience reviewing construction plans and specs.
• Proven ability to build internal/external relationships.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam or similar take-off software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall execution of the project bidding phase.
• Collaborate with Client, Design Team, Sales, Estimators and Project Managers.
• Analyze and evaluate architectural and electrical drawings.
• Produce lighting fixture and controls take-offs.
• Identify discrepancies in specifications/drawings (RFI).
• Request pricing and lead times from vendors.
• Prepare comprehensive lighting quotations.
• Review submittal approvals and update quotes.
• Incorporate changes from bulletins/addenda into quotes.
• Coordinate with Sales on all proposals.
