The position offers a base pay of $75,000+ depending on experience, with remote work flexibility from anywhere in Massachusetts/USA. Responsibilities include managing bid phases, analyzing drawings, producing take-offs and lighting quotations, coordinating with design teams and sales, and ensuring timely, accurate proposals.

Qualifications

• Five+ years' experience in Lighting Estimating/Quotations.
• Experience reviewing architectural and electrical drawings.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam or similar take-off software.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Positive customer service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall execution of the project bidding phase.
• Collaborate with Client, Design Team, Sales, Jr. Estimators and Project Managers.
• Analyze and evaluate architectural and electrical drawings.
• Produce accurate lighting fixture and controls take-offs.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in specifications and drawings (RFIs).
• Request pricing and lead times through vendors.
• Produce comprehensive lighting quotations.
• Review submittal approvals and update quotes accordingly.
• Review lighting changes within drawings and update quotes accordingly.
• Collaborate with Sales team on all proposals.

Wiedenbach Brown, an affiliate of USESI, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Lighting Estimator to join our team! This position will be fully remote.

Job Type: Full-time; Remote

Pay: $75,000 + depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall execution of the project bidding phase
• Extensive and effective collaboration and coordination with the Client, Client's Design Team, Sales, Jr. Estimators and Project Managers
• Analyze and evaluate architectural and electrical drawings
• Produce accurate and timely lighting fixture and controls take-offs
• Identify and RFI discrepancies in specifications and drawings
• Request pricing and lead times through vendors
• Produce comprehensive lighting quotations
• Review submittal approvals and update quotes accordingly
• Review lighting changes within drawing bulletins/addendums and update quotes accordingly
• Collaborate with Sales team on all proposals

Qualifications and Skills:

• Five+ years' of experience in Lighting Estimating/ Quotations required
• Proven ability to build successful internal and external relationships
• A strong aptitude and appreciation for the detail required
• Experience reviewing construction plans, specifications, and other related construction documents
• Experience with Bluebeam software (or similar on screen take off software)
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Positive customer service skills
• Positive attitude
