Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business, supply chain, life sciences, engineering, or related).
• At least 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or related enterprise roles.
• Experience in life sciences procurement preferred.
• Ability to travel ~20% and reside in California.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage metrics for decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of system-wide category strategies for life sciences procurement.
• Implement strategic sourcing initiatives, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
• Analyze category spend and forecast cost savings to adjust strategies.
• Develop and maintain category-specific knowledge, including best practices and industry trends.
• Partner with stakeholders across locations and travel to campus sites as needed (~20%).
