Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is hiring for a 100% remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales role in the United States. You will work with homeowners to discuss coverage options and manage the sales process from information to underwriting.

As a field-service oriented professional, you’ll follow up, qualify leads, and schedule appointments by phone or video while learning carriers and state licensing rules through ongoing training. You’ll log activities in CRM and collaborate with mentors.

Qualifications

• State life insurance license required or plan to obtain license before first sale.
• Self-directed, able to manage own schedule with no supervisor.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with people who requested information and set appointments by phone or video.
• Discuss coverage options and complete the application with the client.
• Guide each case through underwriting and keep the client updated.
• Log calls, notes, and next steps in the CRM.
