Job summary

The Wood Agency Life in the United States is seeking self-directed, remote life insurance sales professionals. This 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor role focuses on following up with leads, presenting coverage options, and guiding clients through underwriting.

You'll work with 43 carriers, receive mentorship, and participate in ongoing training while building your own schedule and working from home.

Qualifications

• Background in skilled trades, construction, or field service.
• Licensed life insurance agent in the United States or plan to obtain license before first sale.
• Self-directed with ability to manage your own schedule.
• Willing to learn software including quoting tools and a CRM.
• At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with information requests and set appointments by phone or video.
• Assess the household before presenting coverage options.
• Walk through coverage options and complete the application together.
• Log calls, notes, and next steps in the CRM.
• Learn products, carriers, and state rules through training.
