Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking an independent contractor for a 100% remote life insurance sales role. No insurance experience is required, and licensing will be completed to sell in your state. You will help families understand options, walk them through the application, and support them through underwriting.

As a 1099 contractor, you’ll access exclusive carrier contracts and lead systems, with mentorship from Ben and Andrea and ongoing training to stay compliant with state rules.

Qualifications

• No insurance experience needed.
• Willing to complete state licensing before selling; timelines vary by state.
• At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• A computer, a phone, and reliable internet.

Responsibilities

• Speak with people who have already requested information about life insurance
• Ask about the household, goals, and concerns before presenting anything
• Walk through suitable options and complete the application with the client
• Stay with each case through underwriting and keep the client informed
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM after every conversation
• Learn products, carriers, and state rules through ongoing training
